EASYGEN 320/350

The easYTMgen-320 offers automatic engine starting, stopping, metering, and generator protection (the easYTMgen-350 adds AMF and transfer switching). The easYTMgen-300 series is designed for single unit isolated operation applications. The multi purpose 6 digit 7 segment LED offers the ability to display measured values and alarm messages. The CAN bus operation adds the ability to display J1939 messages from an engine ECU.

The Woodward easYgen-1000 series is designed for a single-generator set used in critical stand-by or prime power applications with automatic changeover capability. The controllers include purpose-built algorithms and logic to start, stop, control, and protect the genset, open/close circuit breakers and mains supply monitoring with automatic changeover. Equipped with state-of-the-art communication interfaces, Woodward's easYgen1000 Series of AMF genset controllers provides exceptional versatility and value for OEM genset packagers.
The easYgen-1000 Series is available in four versions:
- easYgen-1800, advanced AMF controller comes with a large liquid crystal display (LCD), I/O expansion capability, Ethernet and SD card connectivity

easYgen-2200/2300/2500

The easYgen-2000 Series is a compact, affordable genset control and protection package for load sharing up to 16 gensets in island operation, or parallel operation of a single unit with a utility. Its integrated load dependent start/stop programming allows you to define how gensets are brought on- and off-line to support changing load demands. It equally works with a mix of different sized engines, so you can maintain the spinning reserve you need while optimizing fuel efficiency.
The easYgen-2000 Series works with many common industrial interfaces: CANopen for peer-to-peer load sharing; J1939 for engine ECU; Modbus RTU for PLC, HMI, and SCADA; and modem for remote control and programming using Woodward ToolKit software.

The easYgen-3500XT with a dedicated CAi',lopen network for connectivity to up to '16 LS-s Circuit Breaker Controls, enables control of complex disfibution s),stems having multiple utility feeds and tie breakers, and parallel load sharing of up to 32 generators on up to 32 different bus segments. Redundant load sharing is selectable using Ethernet B and C networks for improved reliability. The control combines complete enginegenerator control and protection with advanced, peer-to-peer paralleling functionality and innovative features in a robust, attractive, user-friendly and all-in-one package. The easYgen-3500 XT controls are designed to direct connect up to 690Vac and operate to 4000m above sea level without derating.

LS-511/521, 1breaker

Woodward’s LS-5 Series relays are synchronizer controllers with integrated mains decoupling and protection features. The applications range from independent synch check relay to complex power management with multiple utility feeds, bus tie-breakers and group breakers in combination with Woodward’s easYgen-3400XT/3500XT equipped genset controllers. Wiring efforts are reduced to a minimum, since only one CAN bus connection is required between all LS-5 and easYgen controllers to transmit AC measurement signals, I/O states, flags, etc.

LS-521/522, 2breaker

The LS-5x2 relays simplify the applications where load bus is served by a mains circuit breaker (MCB) and a generator group breaker (GGB). It senses voltage and current, quantifies the synchronization parameters and transmits the signals via CAN bus to the easYgen-3400XT/3500XT genset controllers. The two breakers control capability along with mains decoupling and protection features make it a perfect choice for transfer switch control under guidance of an external supervisory control. The LS-5x2 is software selectable to be applied as an LS-5x1 thereby facilitating hardware standardization to OEM switchgear builders, generator packagers, and system integrators.

RP-3000XT

Woodward’s RP-3000XT is a touch screen remote control and annunciation panel for use with the easYgen-3000XT series controls. It is particularly useful with the back panel mounted easYgen-3100XT/3400XT, providing control from the front panel with greatly reduced wiring to the access door, while keeping high voltage connections located safely on the back panel.

IKD 1
I/O Expansion Board

The IKD 1 is an "Intelligent Terminal" or "Extension Board". It allows an additional 8 discrete inputs and 8 relay outputs to be connected, via CAN bus, to other Woodward products such as the GCP-30 Series controller (with Option SC06). It is possible to connect up to two IKD 1 units to one GCP-30 (refer to product specification 03240).

Automatic Gen.-set Controller for AMF and Mains Parallel Operation

The NC3 is an efficient automatic controller for the parallel operation of gensets with the mains, including function for emergency power operation (type NC3-1). By NC3-2 the control of several gensets operating in parallel is realized. By these controllers, combustion engines can automatically be started, stopped and supervised. There is no programming involved for adaption to the different gensets, which is an advantage when compared to SPS controls

Two-Channel Digital Speed Switch

Woodward’s DSS-2 is a multipurpose electronic device suitable for diverse applications. While protecting engines from overspeed or underspeed conditions DSS-2 also protects system equipment from the needless wear and damage brought about by these conditions. For example, DSS-2 will shut down a motor, an engine, or a piece of equipment if it detects underspeed, thereby preventing conveyors from jamming, compressors from freezing, belts and drives breaking, and motor windings from overheating.
